Donate Knowledge established in 2021 is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to donating books to underserved communities, with a focus on promoting literacy and ensuring equal access to literary resources.

About the Founder
Paula M. Karll is an acclaimed children’s author, experienced educator for K-12, and the founder of Donate Knowledge, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing literacy and access to literary resources in underserved communities. With over a decade of experience, Paula combines her expertise in special education and her passion for storytelling to empower parents and teachers with practical tools for engaging diverse learners.
As a wife and mother, she understands the daily challenges families face and uses her insights to advocate for inclusive, compassionate learning environments. Her work is recognized nationally, including awards like the Mom’s Choice Award for her book, Ellie Meets The New Baby.
Paula holds a master’s degree in Special Education from Trinity Christian College and is an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children and the Black Caucus of the American Library Association. Through her literature and advocacy, Paula strives to open doors of opportunity, celebrate diversity, and foster connections that enrich families and communities alike.
